Service Description

Finding a placement for social work students can be difficult, one way to improve access to healthcare organisations is through implementing a model of external supervision, this can expand the options for universities and their students. Placements can be provided by organisations who do not have on-site social workers, or social workers who are unavailable for supervision. Supervision Convo can provide external placement supervision for social work students. Support will include 1 hr of clinical supervision, liaison with the university and fortnightly contact with the on-site task supervisor. The social work supervisor can also attend on-line placements meetings with the University, student and organisations. The task supervisor can complete the written assessments for the universities informed by the feedback from our social work supervisor at Supervision Convo. External student placement supervision can be weekly or fortnightly. Emily is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, registered with the AASW, she is trained in student and clinical supervision. You can save by booking a package or if you prefer, you can book each individual session.
